These projects are in the State Streets neighborhood, and are bounded by Jefferson Blvd., Park Blvd., and Stone Blvd.

  • Maryland Avenue:        15th Street to 18th Street (8” 1912 LF) 
  • Delaware Avenue:        15th Street to Regent Street (8” 1906 LF)
  • Pennsylvania Avenue:  Alameda Boulevard to Regent Street (8” 1472 LF)
  • Alabama Avenue:         15th Street to Alameda Street (8” 598 LF)
  • Virginia Avenue:            15th Street to Alameda Street (8” 1035 LF)
  • Circle Street:                   Alabama Avenue to Virginia Ave (8” 770 LF)
  • Alameda Street:             Maryland Avenue to Park Ave (12” 775+ LF)
  • 17th Street:                     Park Blvd to Alabama Avenue (8” 1117 LF) 

 

Project Description:

The project includes the construction of approximately 8,700-linear feet of 8-inch and 1,100-linear feet 12-inch PVC mainline making tie-ins to existing water mains. Work includes installing 210 water service lines that will reconnect to existing water meters, install new fire hydrants and remove and replace other fire hydrants, install new air release valves, and blow offs.

The objective of the State Streets Infrastructure Projects is to correct some of the infrastructure deficiencies identified in the City’s Sewer Master Plan (State Streets Sewer Project),  Water Master Plan and Pavement Management Plan (State Streets Pavement Rehabilitation Project).
